| Synopsis:
From "Old School" director Todd Phillips comes a comedy about a bachelor party gone very, very wrong. Two days before his wedding, Doug (Justin Bartha) drives to Las Vegas with his best buddies Phil and Stu (Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms) and his future brother-in-law Alan (Zach Galifianakis), for a blow-out bachelor party they vow they'll never forget. But when the three groomsmen wake up the next morning with pounding headaches, they can't remember a thing. Their luxury hotel suite is beyond trashed and the groom is nowhere to be found. With no clue about what happened and little time to spare, the trio must attempt to retrace their bad decisions from the night before in order to figure out where things went wrong in the hopes of finding Doug and getting him back to L.A. in time for his wedding. But the more they begin to uncover, the more they realize just how much trouble they're really in. |

Too funny September 3, 2010 jluisrobles The service of amazon is fantastic, the movie is too funny and the quality is awesome.
Suprisingly good September 1, 2010 Y. Gil (Israel) I was afraid that this will be in the spirit of the American Pie legacy or Judd Apatow's bad taste comedies. But I was pleasently surprised, this is a well written and well acted movie which is not only very funny but also rewarding. While a lot of what's happening in the plot is totally absurd (on purpose), the main characters are believable and even likeable. The true subject of the movie is the camaraderie between the 3 buddies(eventually accepting the 4th one as well)and how they overcome together ridiculously tough (and hillariously funny) situations. I read that the actors playing Doug, Phil and Stu are actually buddies in real life and it shows in the way they talk and care for each other. As many have noticed the plot has a lot in common with 'Dude, where's my car?' but I think The Hangover is even better since the heroes are (more or less) mature individuals who are able to digest the absurdity of their situation, and not just stoners who most of the time are not even aware to wjhat's really happening.
I Couldn't Stop Laughing August 30, 2010 Michael A. Saxton (USA) I had virtually given up on comedy movies. Ever since the 80's ended, I've seen more disappointing comedy movies than non. Too many have been dramatic comedies and, in my opinion, weren't funny. Matter of fact, most of the funny movies since the 80's have been parodies. Finally, I decided to give this movie a chance.
I laughed so hard I my abdominal muscles became soar. It was that deep laughter that comes only rarely but goes straight to your soul. This movie is so ridiculously funny that I was blown away. The amount of random happenings could floor even the grumpiest person. The best quality of Hangover is that it is consistently funny. From beginning to end, you're going to be laughing hysterically. It just doesn't stop, right up through the credits.
Warning: If you don't like swearing or sexual humor, or obscene behavior, you'll hate this movie. If you find that stuff funny, get in on this.
Great Movie. Well-written for its genre. August 29, 2010 Joshua D. Nathan (Chicago, USA) This was a great movie, and was actually well-written for its genre (buddy adventure film). Worth owning on DVD and watching again.
This edition also comes with a free digital copy of the movie for download, which is useful if you want to watch it on a laptop with no DVD player.
Call it Floories August 24, 2010 A. White This is one of the more memorable movies of the decade, in my opinion. It's hilarious, has a good cast, and even the story is fairly believable. The only negative things I could say about this movie are extremely minor nitpicks. Actually going to Vegas also helps to get your bearings on where they go in the movie. If you're debating on getting this movie, even if you haven't seen it yet, just do it!
